Cultural Tourism Accelerator Program

There are four different grants for regional artists, arts organisations and communities with an existing project, event, venue or program. Successful applicants will have either an arts or cultural outcome or be attached to an arts and cultural destination or event.
The grants are:
Flash Marketing Campaign Grant - close date: 13 December 2021
Target Marketing Campaign Grant - close date: 25 January 2022
Experience Initiative Grant - close date: 25 January 2022
Partnership Initiative Grant - close date: 25 January 2022

Amount Available: From $2,500 to $15,000

QLD Destination Events Program (QDEP)

The Queensland Destination Events Program exists to provide funding support to those events that qualify as destination events (attract external visitation to the destination). The event must be at least in its 2nd year.

Amount Available: From $10,00 to $100,000

The grant is looking for submissions detailing implementable, value-for-money projects that will deliver significant heavy vehicle safety benefits.

Live Music Australia - Round 4

The program will provide support to the live music sector, with a focus on small to medium venues that support high quality original Australian live music that is professionally staged.

Amount Available: up to $100,000

Soil Science Challenge

Are you a research organisation with new projects that add to Australia’s soil health knowledge and address one of the following research priorities: soil carbon dynamics; soil hydrology; soil biology and nutrients; or soil/root interface. You may be eligible for this grant.

Amount Available: From $500,000 to $5,000,000

Agritourism

The Queensland Farmers’ Federation has partnered with the Queensland Government to deliver the Queensland Agritourism Grants Program offering a 50 per cent co-contribution up to a maximum of $25,000 to match farmers’ funds. This grant will assist farmers to establish or expand into agritourism by employing professional or specialist services or constructing or modifying on-farm infrastructure.

Amount Available: Up to $25,000

Future Drought Fund: Drought Resilient Soils and Landscapes Grants

The Grant is for projects that are targeted at improving the drought resilience of agriculture.

Amount Available: Between $500,000 and $1 million

AgUP Program 2022 (Round 1)

The grants will support initiatives that encourage the development of innovative approaches to career progression and support the retention and sustainability of the agriculture, fisheries and forestry sector workforce.

Amount Available: 33% of the projects budget or $350,000 whichever is the lesser amount

Australia-India Indo-Pacific Oceans Initiative Partnership (AIIPOIP) - Round 2

Are you investigating or have tools to better understand the spatio-temporal distribution of micro-plastics; or detection of floating marine plastic; or an innovative approach to building the marine circular economy; or are inventing/have tools and innovations to segregate plastics based on types or improving reliability of information about recycled plastics? You may be eligible for funding with this grant!

Amount Available: Dependent on requirements (Pool: $400,000)

National Suicide Prevention Leadership and Support Program

The program intends to support national suicide prevention activities that have a broad reach across Australia.

There are seven eligible grant activities: National leadership in suicide prevention; National leadership in suicide prevention research translation; Centre of Best Practice in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Suicide Prevention; National support for lived experience of suicide; National media and communications strategies; National mental health and/or suicide prevention training; and National suicide prevention support for at risk populations and communities.

The Prime Ministers Prizes for Science - Science Prizes

This awards Australian scientists and innovators with prizes to recognise outstanding achievements in science and research-based innovation.

There are 5 science prizes for science and innovation: Prime Minister’s Prize for Science; Prime Minister’s Prize for Innovation; Malcolm McIntosh Prize for Physical Scientist of the Year; Frank Fenner Prize for Life Scientist of the Year; and Prize for New Innovators.

Amount Available: From $50,000 to $250,000
