Wine Export Grant

Small and medium wine producers may be eligible for up to $25,000 in reimbursement for the cost of promotional activities in any export market including:

  • Free samples including freight and transport
  • Trade fairs and forums - including online and virtual promotions, marketing and advertising collateral specific to your international audience
  • Specific travel costs (includes daily allowance, limits supply)

Amount available: up to $25,000

Closing Date: 1 May 2021 or until funds fully allocated


QLD Recreational Fishing Grants

The Queensland Government is seeking applications that address at least one of these current recreational or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people's fishing priorities:

  • contributes to the Sustainable Fisheries Strategy target to 'increase satisfaction of recreational fishers'
  • improves understanding of traditional or cultural fishing activities of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people
  • supports community recovery from COVID-19 through non-commercial fishing activities

Community not-for-profit organisations; Angling clubs/associations; Schools; Councils; Universities; Statutory bodies/government agencies; and Incorporates bodies/associations in Queensland are eligible to apply.

Amount available: up to $200,000

Closing Date: 13 September 2020


Cooperative Research Centre Projects (CRC-P) Grants

Round 10 has $10 million in funding to support CRC-Ps with focus on addressing gaps in Australia’s waste and recycling capability, particularly in regards to plastics, paper, glass and tyres. Applicants need to be an industry-led research collaboration with at least: 2 Australian industry organisations, including at least 1 small to medium-sized enterprise and 1 Australian research organisation.

Amount Available: Matched funding between $10,000 and $3 million

American Express Music Grant

For Music Businesses & Artists! While everyone’s path is different, funding is a universal tool that provides a boost to get back on track or shift focus to new growth opportunities. Maybe you just need a hand getting back to business or getting your music out there. Maybe you’re sitting on an idea that will seriously shake up the industry or grow your career. Depending on the type of support you’re after, you can apply for between AU$2,000 to AU$50,000.

Amount Available: $2,000 to $50,000 AUD

Closing Date: Round 1 - 13 September 2020; Round 2 - 9 November 2020


Celebrating Multicultural QLD Program - Events Grant

Funding will be allocated to events to be delivered across Queensland in 2021 that promote intercultural connections and inclusion and will build capacity to promote and celebrate the benefits of multiculturalism, supporting inclusive, harmonious and united communities.

Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF)

The Australian Government is providing $25 million for health and medical researchers to find breakthroughs in preventing and treating COVID-19. The Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) will provide $25 million in funding for new COVID-19 clinical trials involving high-quality research into the virus.

The Government will provide funding for new COVID-19-specific clinical trials involving high quality research into the virus. Funding for this research will be made available through the Government’s landmark Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) under the Clinical Trials Activity initiative.

Applications for funding are now open and will close on 23 September 2020. Research will be conducted over three years and is expected to commence from early 2021.
