Posted 19 January 2018

Small businesses across Queensland are encouraged to take part in the Queensland Government’s new 100 Faces of Small Business initiative.

Minister for Employment and Small Business, Shannon Fentiman said that the 100 Faces of Small Business campaign will celebrate the achievements of Queensland’s diverse small businesses.

“100 Faces of Small Business will shine a light on the real people behind Queensland’s small businesses,” Minister Fentiman said.

“More than 97 percent of Queensland business are small businesses, so it is vital that we continue to recognise the valuable contribution they make to our communities across the state,” she said.

“By showcasing the faces of our small business owners and their inspiring stories, we aim to highlight the hard work and heart that goes into running a small business while motivating other small businesses to start, grow and create more jobs.”

The campaign will focus on the human stories behind Queensland’s diverse small business sector, shining a light on real people, their unique business experience and their inspiring stories.
