Posted 22 June 2017

Grants of up to $250,000 are on offer for small to medium businesses looking to commercialise their innovations as part of the Government’s Advance Queensland Ignite Ideas Fund.

The funding is aimed at supporting activities that will test and implement commercialisation plans for a product, process or service that is at or beyond minimum viable product or market-ready stage.

Why apply?

So, what's in it for you? Businesses can apply online for Round Three grants via the Advance Queensland website until Wednesday, 12 July 2017 across two categories.

Tier One is offering funds of up to $100,000 (excluding GST), while Tier Two allows for up to $250,000 (excluding GST) per project.

In order to apply, organisations must be based in Queensland, have less than 200 full time equivalent staff, be registered for GST (at the time of application) and have a clearly defined project.

Additional eligibility and entry requirements, as well as details of past funding recipients, can be found online.
