People Management - what are we trying to achieve?

FREE BUSINESS WORKSHOP: People Management - what are we trying to achieve?

Presented by Margaret Goody, Akyra

The overall goals of being in business are to be successful and to make a profit… and to achieve those we need three things – product/services, customers/clients and employees (your ‘people’).

In most cases, business is pretty good at the first two. There is a product/service that is the reason the business exists and there are customers/clients for that product/service. More than likely, there will be endless effort spent on improving the product/service over time to ensure it is the best it can be and identifying ways to connect with customers/clients through any number of communication channels.

The third leg of engaging with our people is more often than not left to chance. Like any three-legged stool when two legs are sturdy and the third is fragile, the potential to fall over is high. That same potential to fall over is very real when we don’t focus on our people to the same extent we do on products/services and customers/clients.

Over six webinars, you will receive practical tips and ideas for you to implement that will assist you in managing your most volatile resource… your people!
