One of four Conference Series events held throughout the year, this time we welcome former Australian cricket captain and sporting superstar Michael Clarke as guest speaker.

Guest Speaker - Michael Clarke

Former Australian cricket captain

Widely regarded as one of the best batsmen of all time, Michael Clarke was the 43rd test captain of Australia. He is an ambassador of Life Education Australia, Cancer Council, Loyal Foundation, and the McGrath Foundation. Whether it's leading a team on the field or in the boardroom, Michael will share his insights on developing a winning and successful culture as part of a Q&A session.

Workshops (10.00am to 11.30am)

1 – Back to Basics presented by SRJ Walker Wayland Accountants and Advisors

How are things going in business for you? Now might be the time to reflect in the year that was and get back to basics.

This workshop will offer tips around budgets and cashflows, tips on improving business performance, what is your break even point, financial ratios and KPI's for your business, and GPS diagnostic - see how you are tracking with growth and profit challenges.

2 – Building a Strong Workforce presented by Akyra Strategy & Development

This workshop will focus on four key strategies that will help in retaining employees who are engaged in their job and committed to your business.

3 – Getting the most out of Visitmoretonbayregion.com.au presented by MBRIT

This workshop is all about planning your marketing strategy and how digital can complement your print collateral.

The session will touch on the Visit Moreton Bay Region website, event listings, Facebook co-hosting, email campaigns, digital marketing and also unique URLS for print collateral to track Google Analytics. 

A great ‘how-to’ session for the tourism sector and one not to be missed.

4 – Innovate Moreton Bay Industry Insights presented by Advance Queensland, AusIndustry & Department of Employment, Small Business and Training

In this Industry insights workshop, you will receive the latest updates on current grants, news, upcoming events and potential support available from Advance Queensland, AusIndustry, and the Department of Employment, Small Business & Training.

Luncheon - featuring Michael Clarke (12.00pm to 2.30pm)

Includes two-course luncheon with beverages, entertainment, keynote presentation and Q&A, and access to exclusive networking event from 2.30pm onwards.

Networking (2.30pm to 5.00pm)

Includes drinks and food platters.
