The Entrepreneurs Programme: Government Grants Available

All Moreton Bay Region based innovators, startups and entrepreneurs, the Entrepreneurs Programme is here for you.

The Entrepreneurs Programme is an updated Australian Government initiative, designed to accelerate growth and help small to medium businesses become more competitive and self-reliant.

As a way to help businesses achieve this, the programme focuses on providing access to expert industry advice and networks, and also provides grants to help support this.

For small and medium business owners, this is an exciting opportunity to grow and improve your business and take advantage of the Government support on offer.

The practical support being offered includes advice from people with relevant private sector experience, funding to take advantage of business improvement and growth opportunities, co-funded grants to commercialise new products, processes and services, and connection and collaboration opportunities.

Grants and support are offered through the following four elements; Accelerating Commercialisation, Business Management, Incubator Support, and Innovation Connections.

Accelerating Commercialisation Opportunities

Accelerating Commercialisation provides advice and funds to help businesses overcome the challenges of commercialising new products, processes and services. This grant will provide matched funding of up to $1 million.

Action items that could be put into place as a result of this evaluation include a Strategic Plan, a Marketing Plan, Financial Management Review, Operational Review, or Systems Analysis. A matched business growth grant of up to $20,000 is available to help implement these recommendations.

Growth sectors that are eligible for this grant include; advanced Manufacturing, Food and Agribusiness, Medical Technologies and Pharmaceuticals, Mining Equipment, Technology and Services, and Oil, Gas and Energy Resources.
